Steadfast Trust Psalm 27 Of David

The King’s resolve 27:1-3 Because of what Yahweh is to me .. My saving light in the darkness My safe house from predators 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;     whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life;     of whom shall I be afraid? Because of what Yahweh does for me .. He foils the attacks of my adversaries 2 When evildoers assail me     to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes,     it is they who stumble and fall. I will confidently trust Him - no matter what A King’s worst nightmare! David chooses not to be disturbed 3 Though an army encamp against me,     my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me,     yet I will be confident.

The King’s singular desire and pursuit 27:4-6 I will seek sanctuary in Yahweh’s embassy … - What better place to manage paralysing fear Ps 91:1 4 One thing have I asked of the Lord,     that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord To live in His presence - forever - enthralled by his beauty - learning his ways     all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord     and to inquire in his temple. To receive his provision and protection - in a climate of trouble 5 For he will hide me in his shelter     in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent;
