Natural Sciences and Technology Grade 5 Term 1: Life and Living Plants and Animals on Earth (PPT 2)

Topic 1 Plants and Animals on Earth Inter-dependence Gr 5 Natural Sciences and Technology – Term 1, Topic 1

Relationships between plants and animals as well as other things (non-living materials, air, water, etc.) in their habitat are important for their survival. We call this Inter-dependence. Gr 5 Natural Sciences and Technology – Term 1, Topic 1

Plants depend on animals for pollination Plants depend on animals for pollination. Bees, other insects and birds assist with pollinating plants. Gr 5 Natural Sciences and Technology – Term 1, Topic 1

Animals also assist with spreading seeds through eating and excreting them or transporting them in their fur. Gr 5 Natural Sciences and Technology – Term 1, Topic 1
