High Voltage Distribution Unit General Information Huber+Suhner is offering High Voltage Distribution Units for the automotive industry. The HVDU assures the power distribution between battery, generator, loader task and secondary output. The secondary outputs can be protected with fuses. We use materials and components with low electrical resistance. The Unit is protected with an interlock system. Confidential ACS May 2013 7

Power Distribution Unit Electrical specifications Voltage Rating up to 1000V AC Rated current up to 500 Ampere Test voltage 2700V 60sec. Environmental specifications Temperature range - 40°C to + 125° C / 140°C short term Protection mode IP69K Mechanical specifications overall dimensions of the box according customer requirements Material of the box aluminum alloy milled or die casted Cable size for HV connections Radox from 16mm² to 50mm², 95mm² in development Material of the current bars copper alloy, tinned Confidential ACS May 2013 8

H+S Connection System General Information Huber+Suhner is offering a screened high voltage connection which is used in combination with the H+S HVDU. The connection system has - a very low electrical resistance < 10mOhm of the screening from connector to the HVDU. - a high ampacity The needed space by using this connector in the car is reduced to a minimum.
