Homework Refer to the weekly newsletter for that week’s homework (emailed on Mondays, on website, in agenda book daily) Give your child a comfortable, well-lit area for homework completion Read the directions with or to your child to confirm understanding Allow your child to work independently, and then answer questions Allow your child to sound out words and write the sounds that they hear for each word Developmental spelling is appropriate for this age level It is a step towards correct spelling Known sight words should be spelled correctly Please read with your child!
