How many Business, Nursing or Health Sciences students think that the CORE liberal arts courses have nothing to do with your chosen field of study and careers? How many Arts and Sciences majors believe that your major and intellectual curiosity is greater and deeper than those of your peers who are pursuing more professional majors? What happened? When did this happen and why are these questions even important, particularly at this moment in time?

After Dr. Bill Sullivan visited campus in the Spring of 2011, Dr After Dr. Bill Sullivan visited campus in the Spring of 2011, Dr. Soven and Professor McDonald organized a reading group of interested faculty from across the university 2012 until present: Faculty Cohort of 10- five Business and five Liberal Arts professors meet regularly to discuss ways to integrate the best elements of liberal arts learning with business curriculum to help students develop wise, ethically grounded professional judgment
