What tools do they use? What do scientists do? Phonics: r blends Sight words: sit, did, as, an Character Ed: Identifying and expressing emotions Reminders: Your child’s lunch number is the same as it was last year in Kindergarten. Please practice this at home, so your child will know it well. Please be sure to send a healthy snack with your child every day. Children may also have a water bottle for during the school day. We go to library on Mondays. Please be sure to send your child’s books back to school on Monday! We’re going on a FIELD TRIP! First Grade will go to Jack-o-lantern Lane (The Pumpkin Patch) in LaFayette on Thursday, October 18th. Please look for the info letter and permission slip in your child’s folder next week.
