Sophroni Varbev is an unusual author. He is weird in his thinking, strange in the morphology of his works and bizarre in their philosophical direction. He is from the Anri Kulevs class except that he's more spiritual and less erotic. His special authors vision creates an alternative to the everydays life, to the boredom, to the mental congestion. Sophroni plays with the paradox and uses it like an arrow, like a hammer or a roller, depending on the theme of the work. His humor is philosophically sad, his irony is subtle but he loves people and he is sad for them. He is seduced by the extreme situation. His unique, synthesized thinking makes him lonely, but he believes that "God sees everything" and works his enigmas. Krassi Alexieva, Born in 1960 in Gabrovo.
