RDCS During times of disasters, communication is one of the most critical tools needed in the affected areas. As a public service SC-VFW will provide the tools (RDCS units) for wireless broadband communications. The equipment is transportable and self contained with various power options (auto/AC/battery). Which means, once the equipment is on site, communication is up and running in a matter of minutes instead of hours or days. A virtual Hot Spot (WI-FI b/g/n) provides a Wireless LAN and broadband cellular provides the Wireless WAN. (4 Ethernet ports are standard). Up to 20 computers can be linked to the equipment within a radius of 1 to 5 miles. Need additional bandwidth for Video or VOIP? Pop in another USB modem (upto 3) for 2x or 3x bandwidth. Data communication is essential for managing the resources that are needed in a disaster. We have 4 units available if needed. Rapid Deployment Communication System
