WHY IS WELLBEING IMPORTANT? WHY DOES IT NEED TO BE ON THE AGENDA? TABLE DISCUSSION WHY ARE WE HERE TODAY? WHY IS WELLBEING IMPORTANT? WHY DOES IT NEED TO BE ON THE AGENDA?

WHAT ARE THE BARRIERS TO ACHIEVING OUR WELLBEING STRATEGIES? TABLE DISCUSSION WHAT ARE THE BARRIERS TO ACHIEVING OUR WELLBEING STRATEGIES? IF TIME AND MONEY WERE NO OBJECT, HOW WOULD WE OVERCOME THOSE BARRIERS?

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF STRESS? TABLE DISCUSSION WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF STRESS?

OUR APPROACH TO STRESS The Bridge Analogy WHAT CAN BE DONE? ALLEVIATE THE LOAD What will happen if we continue to add more and more load to the bridge? It will bend, creak, buckle and show signs of being under stress. Eventually it will collapse. To prevent the collapse you have two choices, either alleviate the load or reinforce the bridge. Stress is when the DEMAND made on an individual EXCEEDS their capacity or the resources they have to cope with the demand. CREAK BUCKLE BEND WHAT CAN BE DONE? REINFORCE THE BRIDGE
