To share experiences from out-grower and independent timber production enterprises. To understand current timber marketing chains and roles of private sector. To identify opportunities and constraints of tree germplasm, establishment, management and harvesting for small-holder timber production. To examine social, policy, legal and economic frameworks which affect small-holder timber production. 6. To agree on future research and development needs in the sector.
