VERBS Identifying Verbs

Subject + verb + object I eat apple. The students read a book. They read a book. You clean the room. Ahmad eats an apple . The cat catches the mouse He eats an apple . It moves it’s tail. Amal reads a book She reads a book

THE TENSES PRESENT I cook the lunch. PAST I cooked the lunch FUTURE I will cook the lunch

How to form present simple

Subject + verb (s) +object

1/ If the subject at the beginning of the sentence is one of these pronouns: : He , She , It He sings in his room. She eats the apple. It snows in Alaska.

2/ if the subject is a noun which refer to singular male or female or non-human Naser sings in his room. Faten eats the apple. The Internet stops suddenly.

Subject + verb +object

If the subject is one of these pronouns: I , you , they ,we I write my home work. They watch the T.V / The boys watch the T.V. You play football. We learn English.

(She , He , it ) + is She is a Muslim . : Is , am , are Is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>singular (She , He , it ) + is She is a Muslim . Are>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>plural  They ,we , you) They are Muslims. Am>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I I am from Saudi Arabia.

Do & Does Yes/ no questions: does + (he,she,it,or singular) + V + res of the sentence. He speaks four languages. Does he speak four languages? They go to school everyday. Do they go to school everyday?
