Disability Income Rider Home Mortgage Series Did you know? Approximately 30% of all people 35 to 65 will suffer a disability extending least 90 days. Disability Income Rider Minimum per month - $100 Maximum per month - lesser of: 2% of face amount $2,000 ($1,500 for government workers) 60% of gross earned income (40% in CA) DI definition – “own occupation” Maximum benefit – 1 or 2 years Waiting period – 90 days Premium guarantee – 1 year New Enhancements! Proof of Mortgage no longer required. Government employees and postal workers are now covered using the 60% of income limit but with a maximum cap of $1,500. 2% face amount limit still applies. A 60% of salary limitation will apply in all jurisdictions except California. The face amount will no longer be limited to 125% of the mortgage amount. Policy Series 174/234

Disability Income Rider LifeTerm Series Disability Income Rider Minimum per month - $100 Maximum per month - lesser of: 2% of face amount $2,000 ($1,500 for government employees) 60% of gross earned income (40% in CA) Maximum benefit – 1 or 2 years DI definition – “own occupation” Waiting period – 90 days Premium guarantee – 1 year *Riders are optional and available at an additional cost. Riders are not available in all states. The Disability Income Rider allows the client to receive monthly benefits in the event of a disability. The payments begin after a 90-day waiting period and are retroactive to the date of the disability. The client can receive payments from their policy for up to 2 years and the payments can be up to $2,000 per month or 2% of the base face amount of the policy, whichever is less. Policy Series 262/263-C

Return of Premium Rider LifeTerm Series Return of Premium Rider 100% refund of all premiums paid at the end of the level premium period** Riders are optional and available at an additional cost. Riders may not be available in all states. Return of Premium Rider (Rider Series 2132/2133). Return of Premium Rider is not available in IN, KS, ND, OR, PA, TX and UT; use Endowment Rider (Rider Series 2143) in IN, KS, OR and TX; use Cash Value Rider (Rider Series 2153) in PA only. **Less any Disability Income Rider benefits paid. If the client holds the policy for the entire time and never receives and benefits from the policy they will receive 100% of their premiums paid in at the end of the term. As you can see from the chart below it is also pro-rated in case the client decided to cancel the policy before the term is up. Policy Series 262/263-C

LifeTerm Series Endowment Rider Benefits to the clients if they outlive their term: Receive a payment equal to 100% of the total premiums at the end of their level premium period. Partial benefit available after the 5th policy year Partial benefit increases yearly after the 5th policy year until it reaches 100% at the end of the level premium period. The Endowment Rider offers a benefit to the client if they outlive their term. The client will receive a payment equal to 100% of the total premiums paid at the end of the their term if they didn’t receive any benefits from the policy previously. There is a partial benefit available to the client after the 4th policy year should they cancel the policy pre-maturely. The partial benefit increases yearly after the 5th policy year until it reaches 100% refund of premiums at the end of the term. Riders are optional and available at an additional cost. Endowment Rider (Rider Series 2143) is available in IN, KS, OR, and TX. Policy Series 262/263-C

Waiver of Premium Rider LifeTerm Series Waiver of Premium Rider Entire premium may be waived if the primary insured becomes totally disabled. After 180 consecutive days of disability, Americo may waive premiums for the remainder of the disability and reimburse clients for the first 180 days of the disability.* * Riders are optional and available at an additional cost. Riders are not available in all states. This rider terminates on the earliest of: the policy anniversary nearest the insured’s 60th birthday if the insured is not disabled at the time, on the date the insured recovers if disabled on the policy anniversary nearest the insured’s 60th birthday, or the date the base policy terminates. The Waiver of Premium Rider will waive the entire premium for the client if the primary insured becomes totally disabled. After 180 days, Americo will waive premiums for the duration of the disability and reimburse client’s for the first 180 days of the disability. Policy Series 262/263-C

LifeTerm Series Children’s Term Rider Provides level term life insurance for: Child, stepchild, or legally adopted child by the Owner through the age of 25 Issue ages – 15 days to 18 years Up to $10,000 of coverage per child The child may convert to a level-premium policy for up to 5 times the amount of coverage in force upon their 25th birthday. If the child doesn’t convert to a policy on his 25th birthday, the rider coverage terminates. * Riders are optional and available at an additional cost. Riders are not available in all states. The Children’s Term Rider provides lever term life insurance for a child, stepchild, or legally adopted child by the owner through the age of 25. You can add a qualifying child if they are between the ages of 15 days and 19 years and up to $10,000 of coverage per child. The child can convert to a level-premium policy for up to 5 times the amount of coverage in force up their 25th birthday. If the child doesn’t convert the policy by his 25th birthday, the rider coverage will terminate. Policy Series 262/263-C
