Monitoring and Evaluation of ACSM Interventions to Support TB Prevention and Care

Putting It All Together! Collecting High-Quality Data Evaluation Collecting High-Quality Data Today we will see how everything we talked about this week comes together in your final M&E plan. We will start by completing your evaluation planning and then talk about how M&E works in the real world. We will talk about challenges like budgets, staffing, and lack of resources. Indicators Data Use and Reporting M&E Frameworks

Linking It All Together Let’s start by reviewing what we have done so far this week. These are some of the tools that we have used. CLICK to show the first set of arrows from Cough to Cure and Gap Analysis to M&E Framework. We used gap analysis to develop our ACSM objectives and activities. Then we inserted those into an M&E framework to show how our outputs and outcomes will help reach those objectives. CLICK to show the next arrow. Our framework became the basis for our M&E plan. It helped us determine our indicators and how we will collect high-quality monitoring data on those indicators. We also thought about reporting, and today we will complete our evaluation planning. CLICK to show the final arrows. And finally, that gap analysis and M&E planning led to our annual ACSM work plan, which is the ultimate “product” of the planning process.
