Library is every Wednesday! Ms. Ruhl’s Class Classroom Newsletter January 25th, 2019 Dates to Remember Classroom News Library is every Wednesday! No dates for Jan. Congratulations to our friend---Jesus---for being chosen as Student of the Week and for modeling Honesty. We will also be celebrating him as student of the week next week! Please continue to send in your box tops! We love being about to give back to our school! (Label with your child’s name and mine.) A huge thank you to those that have been volunteering in our classroom! We truly appreciate your time and help! Please remember to label hats, gloves an scarves! An extra bag might be helpful to carry all winter items as well! Classroom Wish List: Band-Aids, Cardstock, Stickers What are we learning? In writing—we continue to write narratives that have strong beginning, middle and ends. This week we will continue to write about events that made us feel happy or excited etc. In math—we’ve started our new module 4! We are working on basic place value to the tens/ones place. Students are doing a great job and identifying place value using base 10 blocks! In ELA we continue to “wonder” and ask questions about our stories and we continue to use are visualizing strategy to help us understand what we are hearing when we read stories together.
