Managing Resources in the Caribbean • Water shortages – Access to clean water • Protecting and managing wetlands • Garbage in the ocean • Slash-and-burn farming – Deforestation vs. reforestation

Reforestation: planting young trees or seeds on lands where trees have been cut or destroyed.

Sedimentation: the action or process of forming or depositing sediment

Review Question: Chapter 8 : Lesson 3 Read pages 208-212 and answer Review Questions on page 212 Hand in Google Class Room.

Project: Create a digital ad campaign against dumping garbage and other wastes in the Caribbean. We will show or ads tomorrow in class and will evaluate the campaigns, noting which ones were most effective and why. Hand in Google Classroom as a Google Slide
