Energy Needs Your body needs energy for every activity including maintaining an internal body temperature of 98.6 degrees. Calorie-the amount of heat necessary to raise the temperature of 1kg of water 1degree C.

Proteins that are missing one or more essential amino acids Made of amino acids Functions replace and repair body cells and for growth Complete Proteins Proteins that provide all of the essential amino acids Incomplete Proteins Proteins that are missing one or more essential amino acids Protein
