Building a needs-based Health & Wellbeing Strategy David Conrad   Consultant in Public Health (Evidence & Intelligence) Hertfordshire County Council

focus on needs to set priorities reflect these priorities in strategy objectives

bring together available health & wellbeing statistics build a picture of local needs across the life stages

get together with stakeholders… agree order of priorities based on: what the data show importance of the issue potential to influence it

set strategy objectives and create an action plan for each priority monitor ongoing progress towards achieving strategy objectives
