Volume 154, Issue 3, Pages e77-e81 (September 2018) A 48-Year-Old Man With Multiple Pulmonary Nodular Opacities and Elevated KL-6 Level  Takayuki Nakano, MD, Ichiro Kuwahira, MD, Hidenobu Shigemitsu, MD, Tomoki Nakagawa, MD, Asuka Nagai, MD, Akinori Ebihara, MD, Teruaki Oka, MD, Masayuki Iwazaki, MD  CHEST  Volume 154, Issue 3, Pages e77-e81 (September 2018) DOI: 10.1016/j.chest.2018.03.051 Copyright © 2018 American College of Chest Physicians Terms and Conditions

Figure 1 A, Chest radiograph showed a nodular lesion in the right lower lung field. B, C, Chest CT revealed multiple nodular ground-glass opacities in the right lower lobe. D, On PET-CT imaging, there was an increased uptake of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose with a maximum standardized uptake value of 3.6 (delayed phase: 4.2) in the largest lesion. Figure 2 Histologic findings showed lymphocytic infiltration in (A) the alveolar septa and (B) the bronchovascular bundles. Immunohistochemical staining revealed the majority of the infiltrating lymphocytes in the (C) alveolar septa were CD3-positive T cells, whereas those in the (D) bronchovascular bundles were CD20-positive B cells.
