Should I have cabled to the top and walked down? No, because it is considered better to climb up the mountain, as that is the challenge. The walk takes about an hour for the fit, and two hours for those who need to take their time. Many monks prayed on every step. One monk swept every step clear of leaves. Marguerite Carstairs 2010
