Application of wisdom: “Am I going to just talk the talk, or am I going to walk the walk?”
Wisdom Characteristics: 2) God is the source
“My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding,
all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:2-3
“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Wisdom Examples: Peter and God’s amazing grace
“’The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses.’” Acts 15:5b
“After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: ‘Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe.
God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith.
Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.’” Acts 15:7-11
