After transfer of the first prototype from FZJ to ITEP Transfer succeeded on the end of May. Activities: Papers for coming equipment Unpacking Assembling subsystems Testing subsystems
Subsystems for the second prototype hydrogen purifier system purifier Assembled Connected Tested for leakages pump
Subsystems for the second prototype beam dump system Assembled Tested for leakages dump chamber pump
Subsystems for the second prototype scattering chamber scattering chamber assembled with the diagnostic setup and the tube
Adjustment system elements System of linear actuator + stepper motor operated via L-CARD E14-140 controller 4 modules for four axes: 4 stepper motors - delivered 4 linear actuators - produced 4 mechanical support – produced software on Delphi prog. – done and tested Test with L-Card controller and Delphi prog. – done Installation on the Pellet target – in progress USB L-CARD - controller
New light modules for diagnostics New backlight elements based on the LED Cree XP-E 1 W, Red with operational control designed and produced test on the Pellet target in progress
Raspberry PI 3 Model B – as bridge to EPICS DAQ for pellet target – mix of present system with integration to EPICS of GSI/FAIR Data acquisition system Software will be modified for integration to EPICS system of GSI/FAIR. Use of Raspberry Pi controller as bridge for slow control system Present DAQ system – based on individual software-hardware modules (installed on PAC, PLC controllers and Windows PCs) united by TCP/IP Sockets protocole and using of MySQL database for data storing Data To pellet target Data From PANDA control system Ready for start Stop of pellets generation Pellet size and frequency Start of pellets generation Error in pellet target Set of luminosity mode (ten or more variations) Actual luminosity mode Raspberry PI 3 Model B – as bridge to EPICS Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System at GSI (already using in PANDA and CBM experiments)
