M Percent of a Number MODIFICATION Technology allows for the creation of new tasks that were previously not conceivable Work together as a group to solve 5 math problems. The first QR code will actually be the problem to solve while the next will be an answer for one of the 5 problems. Work through problems first before using the iPads to check answers for the problems. Use the Inigma App to scan the QR codes and check your answers. Take a screen shot of every correct answer. Create an iMovie with the screenshots of your correct answers. Give an explanation on how each problem was solved. Each group member should have a turn recording an explanation. Name your iMovie: Homeroom teacher, hr, group#. Example: Parker3hrg2. Save the movie. Open the CPSB icon on the iPad home screen. Go to my Blackboard site and click on Discussion Board “Percent of a Number”. In the Subject area put the title of your iMovie. View and write a constructive response to one other groups’ post. This task uses: iPads Inigma App iMovie Learning Objective(s): Find the percent of a number TEACHER NOTES: Create groups. Make QR codes for math problems and answers. Pass out Task card and QR codes. Make a Blackboard Discussion Board entitled “Percent of a Number”.
