By supporting Guilford County PAGE, you will be the first to know about relevant webinars, speakers, events, communications and other programs. 3RD GRADE AG SCHEDULE 2019

MATH 3rd Grade ELA 5th Grade: Piece By Piece 5TH GRADE ELA – Poetry We will be continuing our unit on the poetry of Langston Hughes and creating a poetry analysis foldable. We will begin ballad poems with the study of Lin Manual Miranda’s Hamilton masterpieces. 4th GRADE ELA –Heroes We will be continuing to work on our Superhero comic books with emphasis on dialogue, figurative language, and onomatopoeia. 3rd Grade ELA Students will be participating in the Marshmallow challenge as a team building activity. After we will begin studying Ancient Greece and creating our history pockets this month. We will focus on culture, language, food, games, and government with an introduction to religion and mythology. MATH 5th Grade: Piece By Piece This unit invites students to think visually about fractions. Students will create visual, numeric, and algebraic representations to explore equivalence and problem solve fractions. 4th Grade: Geometry Challenge Students will dive deeper into key geometry terms being taught in the classroom through drawing, describing and analyzing. 3rd Grade: Algebra Into the Unknown Students are introduced to basic algebraic concepts including equations, variables, patterns and functions.
