FY 2017 HR Goals September 2016

FY 2017 Goals 1. Develop and implement accountability strategy for UKHC managers related to employee engagement. 2. Develop impact metrics to measure effectiveness of HR Business Partner services. 3. Deliver at least one piece of ESS/MSS in a mobile app (time entry or leave requests). 4. Ensure new employee access to technology and systems to allow immediate productivity and engagement from start day.

FY 2017 Goals 5. Implement changes in response to updates in the Fair Labor Standards Act. 6. Evaluate opportunity to adjust staff pay equity program . 7. Implement best practices and proven strategies from unconscious bias endeavors. 8. Investigate LMS (Learning Management System) functionality. 9. Continue with Year 2 Leadership Forum: Inclusive Leadership tied this year to the unconscious bias efforts. (October 25, 26 & 27).

FY 2017 Goals 10. Make changes to the Student Health Plan for funded grad students to comply with IRS regulations. 11. Develop online video clips for the Financial Well-Being Program. 12. Provide LiveWell Check In health screenings to UK employees. $100 rebate for participation 13. Roll out Fitbit subsidy and Step Up challenge to UK Retirees and Employee Spouses enrolled on a UK Health Plan.

FY 2017 Goals 14. Develop and implement an interactive walking route map. 15. Prepare to re-administer the Work-Life employee engagement survey in Fall 2017 16. Complete the expansion of the Employee Relations department to include Work Comp, Light Duty Work Program, LTD and UKHC &Campus FML Management. 17. Create a suite of targeted communications to send to employees.

FY 2017 Goals 18. Improve workforce diversity and inclusion. 19. Enhance IES (Integrated Employment System) resources. 20. Develop support services and tools for faculty hiring efforts.
