QuickBooks Setting up

Open QuickBooks Click Start → All Programs → Quickbooks and open QuickBooks Premier – Accountant Edition

Open QuickBooks Or click the Icon on your Desktop

Opening Screen You will see a screen that looks like this. Click the buttons that says “Open or restore an existing company”

Restore a backup copy Select the button to restore. Then click Next.

Restore a backup Select the button that says Local backup. Then click Next.

Browse for the file (.QBB) If you select you can find your name in the pull down menu. Open the Download folder. Select the correct file and click Open.

Click Next to continue.

Change file name You have the option of renaming the working file so it does not overwrite the original.

Waiting Wait a few moments while everything is imported. If you get the message below click Yes to continue.

External Account Message If you get this message, click the box that says, “Do not show again and click No.
