Sending Standardized Test Scores Students are responsible for sending scores to each college directly from the testing agency website. Some schools may take self-reported scores. All schools will accept the SAT or ACT. Students should send whichever test they did best on (SAT or ACT) unless the school requires all scores. Only some schools will super score the ACT Most schools will super score the SAT Check each school’s standardized test policy to see if they super score and if they require the essay. You can use this link to see if schools require the essay.

Sending SAT Scores To send your scores: Log in to your College Board account Click your name in the upper right corner Click “My SAT” Click link to send your scores Add your schools to your list Select which scores you want to send Pay

Sending SAT Scores Before Test Day You can send four free score reports to colleges every time you register for the SAT. After Test Day You can still send four free score reports to colleges up to nine days after the test— after that there's a $12 fee for sending score reports. Rush Order If you request rush service, your score reports will typically be sent to colleges within two to four business days (not counting holidays and weekends). You still must pay $12 for sending score reports and an additional $31 to rush scores.

Sending SAT Scores Your scores are sent to colleges within 10 days after you submit the request. Then it can take up to a week for the college to process the scores. Keep this in mind when registering for tests this fall. Remember, all application materials should be received by the deadline. If you are finished with testing, go ahead and send your scores now.

October 6 SAT SAT with Essay: October 19: Your multiple-choice scores will be available. October 22–24: Most SAT Essay scores will be available. SAT: October 19: Online and paper score reports will be available.

Sending ACT Scores Multiple choice scores are normally available within two weeks after each national test date, but it can sometimes take up to eight weeks.  Writing scores are normally available about two weeks after your multiple- choice scores. Your scores are sent to colleges within one week after your request is received. It can take up to a week for the college to process the scores.

Sending ACT Scores Regular Report It will cost $13.00 per test date. Priority Report Priority reports are usually delivered three to four business days later. It will cost $16.50 per test date.

Sending Scores to Test Optional Schools Some schools offer test optional policies where students do not have to submit their standardized test scores for admissions purposes Check each school’s standardized test policy Some schools only let students apply as test optional if they have a certain GPA Most of the time, to be considered for merit based scholarships, the student must submit test scores, even if he/she applies as test optional If test scores are below the school’s ranges, the student should consider applying as test optional If test scores are within the school’s ranges, the student should not apply as test optional
