REDEFINITION 7th Grade Unit 4 Summative Performance Task 4 REDEFINITION Why did people immigrate to and migrate within the United States during the Age of Reform? How did this movement affect society? Description of Summative Performance Task: You will produce a short answer summative response and provide critique to another student’s response using Blackboard Discussion Board. Steps: Go to the CPSB Blackboard website (blackboard.cpsb.org) Login using your CPSB Username and Password. Select my Class Blackboard Page. In my page, select DISCUSSION BOARD. Select Create Thread. Be sure to read the instructions and rubric at the top of the discussion. Write your response into the text box. When you are finished, click submit. Look at the other discussion board submissions. Find a student from another class section (same grade level). Click on the title of their discussion to open. Reply to the student’s response using one of our Accountable Talk starters (I agree because… I disagree because…, etc.). Click the REPLY button in order to do this. When you are done with your reply, click submit.
