Article 8 reporting: typical data issues Duplicate station codes (no primary key in station tables) Missing mandatory elements, duplicate child elements (detected through XML schema validation) Missing or wrong station coordinates (visually checked with Google Earth) Inconsistencies between related tables (GW and SW Station tables vs Monitoring programmes) Some confusion with number of RBDs, RBD codes and names Data were not delivered in XML format, but as Excel files, etc. Feedback to countries: only 6 months after reporting deadline (Reports from manual QA checks, 250+ mails to countries)
