Saturday morning at the Koines/Landry household… I wake up around 5:00 am because I’ve woken up at that time almost every day for 10 years… What type of learning is this?

Classical UCS: alarm clock UCR: waking NS: time (5:00 am) CS: time CR: waking at 5:00 am

At 5:00 am, Moxie gets hungry What type of conditioning is this?

Classical UCS: eating/food UCR: feeling hunger shortly before eating NS: time (5:00 am) CS: time CR: feeling hunger at 5:00 am

Reinforcement or Punishment? Negative or Positive? If I don’t get up in a timely manner, say by 5:10… Moxie will start knocking things off my nightstand… Books fall of the floor, I get up. What type of learning is Moxie showing? (What type of conditioning is Moxie using on me?) Operant She has learned that if she knocks something on the floor, I will get up. And if I’m out of bed, I’ll feed her. Reinforcement or Punishment? Negative or Positive? The more I get up in response to her knocking things on the floor, the more she’ll do it.
