Growing Cities

Cities were the center of the industrial age Cities were the center of the industrial age. Many people moved to cities in search of work. New York Chicago

New cities had growing pains-sewage in the streets, overcrowded buildings, and crime.

Despite these harsh conditions… Tenements in the US Slums in the US
