What is in a Math Grade? 20% Homework Complete, Checked and Corrected No late work is accepted after the unit test 80% Assessments Students demonstrating the standards they have mastered “I need to study for a math test???” No ”surprises”: students will know exactly what is on tests Test corrections...they will need your help Please become familiar with checking grades as a family in Family Access (Skyward)...I update grades at least weekly
More About Homework ***Please do not allow your child to spend more than 30 min. on their math homework a night! How to Help: Encourage your child to look through their classwork…we likely solved a similar problem together in class. Watch the lesson video from the website. Google it! Khan Academy
