FACT: Parents who praise their kids’ effort in the learning process rather than a child’s intelligence, help their children adopt a growth mindset. RESEARCH DETAILS A study by Schleider, Schroder, Lo et al (2016) indicates that parents with growth mindsets instead of a fixed mindset, had children with less anxiety.
