Introduction: Sample Hook: Get their interest! ** NO “YOU” ** Do most high school students really know why they go to college? Do they see their college experience as something that will pay off for them in the end? Description of Issue: Share some background info. about your overall topic. Students should view college as an investment in their future. While some people may choose to go to college and others may go because they think they have to, in the end graduating from college is worth it. Thesis: Already written; plug yours in! College is valuable as it increases the money graduates will make and graduates will also have a better selection of jobs to apply from.

Introduction: Put all “pieces” together in an indented paragraph. Do most high school students today really know why they go to college? Do they see their college experience as something that will pay off for them in the end? Students should view college as an investment in their future. While some people may choose to go to college and others may go because they think they have to, in the end graduating from college is worth it. College is valuable as it increases the money graduates will make, and graduates will also have a better selection of jobs to apply from.
