Project-Product Photo Poetry Poster

Project Situation You and a partner are a newly-hired members of the Poetry Organization-Philippines that publishes a monthly magazine consisting of various poetry innovations that is read by a majority. For this month, your editor-in-chief gave you your first project to have an entry in this month’s issue in which it should be innovational. You and your partner decide to create an original poem whose lines are creatively superimposed on an artistically-taken photograph.

Project Situation Your editor approves your idea and tells you to be keen on details with which he will be specifically be looking on such as photography and creativity, structure and organization, originality, and theme.

POEM FORMAT and THEME Your poem must not be less than eight lines but must not exceed sixteen lines. The division of the poem into stanzas is up to you. You may or may not follow a certain rhyme scheme. You are to choose any theme of the poem provided that the photo and the poem must reflect each others’ meaning.

PHOTO The poem must be “embedded” or be superimposed on the photo creatively. You must print the photo on an A3-sized photo paper (This should be around 120 pesos). The photo must also capture the essence of your poem.

COMPOSITION DAYS You will be given two class meetings to construct your project. One day will be given to take photos around the campus and the other for you to compose your original poem. You are allowed to continue the composition of the poem at home.
