Treaty Research When doing treaty research, you will normally need to know: How to locate the full-text of a treaty. How to cite a treaty. Citing treaties requires that you understand the status of a treaty: Is it in force? The date and place of signature What countries signed it What countries have ratified it When did Canada ratify it?
