General Reprogramming Tips: It is possible to damage the vehicles ECM/TCM during the reprogramming event. Once the reprogramming process has started, it is recommended not to interrupt the process until the event is completed. If you experience any problems, please contact your scan tool maker for further instructions. During ECM/TCM Reprogramming events, jumper harness connectors E/G1, E/G2, or AT may be required. All 3 jumpers are available in Subaru Part #24036AA010. Jumper requirements are listed on the bottom half of the reprogramming flash write screen under “Necessary Connectors” The green D-check connector must always be connected during ECM reprogramming. The TCM reprogramming requires the green D-check to be disconnected. 4/9/2019
