My role as National Clinical Lead… Work with key stakeholders to deliver transformational change in diagnostic imaging PACS implementation Maximise utilisation of NHS imaging capacity IS procurement Workforce development Service redesign Imaging pathways development

Why support PACS implementation? 2008: the 18 weeks start to treatment target Faster access to diagnostic imaging Services delivered closer to the patient GP direct access Better for patients, better for NHS staff
