Recent History May 1972, a meeting at Victoria University, Wellington, launched the Values Party which is the worlds first national Green party. 1990s-The first campaign. Became foundation members of a four-party alliance, with the liberals joining making a five- party alliance. 2000-They entered parliament. Set a milestone in New Zealand politics by negotiating 15$ million.
