Examples: Harmful Smoke Chemicals Farm run-off Erosion Litter How can pollution affect YOU? Parkinson's disease Asthma Bronchitis Respiratory infections Pneumonia Lung cancer Heart disease What can YOU do to help? Switching light bulbs to eco-friendly ones Using energy efficient appliances Properly insulating your home Use push or electric lawn mowers Hang wet clothes out to dry Carpool, walk, or ride a bike Reduce amount of chemicals used when cleaning: replace sprays (for mirrors, windows, countertops, etc.) with the following solution: 1 part white distilled vinegar with 1 part water (applied as a spray)
