Western Michigan University Broncos This logo was adapted in 1998 to show the speed, aggression, and determination of the “Broncos”
TRUE COLORS In 1904 President Dwight B. Waldo chose our school colors. The brown and gold comes from the abundance of Brown-eyed susans located on East Campus.
TUNING IN Our current Alma Mater and Fight Song are the result of a contest that was held in 1955 to change the existing tunes.
Education First In 1936 Paul V. Sangren was named president of Western State Teachers College.
