2014 was very challenging with the implementation of ISCED2011 2015 was a year of consolidation Positive exercise with globally good results in data quality, but efforts are still needed on the timeliness without jeopardising data quality Some questionnaires still missing GR (1), IS (4) Quality reports: 3 missing (GR, IS, TR), online by the end of June Updated Isced mappings: 8 missing (CZ, DK, FR, GR, IT, IS, RS, TR) Specific information on the quality of expenditure data (next on the agenda) Eurostat Education and Training Statistics Working Group - Luxembourg, 2-3 June 2016

UOE 2015 – Data processing New quick pre-check on the quality of data submission. = Minimum requirements: NO mixing of numeric values and flags in data sheet. Not too many empty data items (either value or flag) No rejection = 6 countries. More than 3 Q rejected = 8 countries. UOE 2015 – Data processing Test of Edit (Eurostat validation tool) on Lang and Regio questionnaires Very limited due to technical problems. Will be re-examined in the context of the use of SDMX SDMX (standard to describe, model and exchange data) Piloting a data collection using SDMX compliant transmissions is still an objective.
