The Problem of Polygamy Genesis makes several points on marriage 1) Genesis 2:24 – one man, one woman for life 2) Genesis 20:3 – adultery is a sin 3) Genesis 4:19 – the first polygamist was unholy 4) In general, polygamy made problems Abraham & Sarah, Jacob & Rachel & Leah Ge 2:24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.
