Lab Notes Share beakers of water with table (get tap water from sink and add ice to another beaker of tap water to make cold water) Use red “hot-hands” to pour hot water (at the back of the room) Get Alka-Seltzer from me and keep extra pieces way off to the side of the table Take temp. of each water, RIGHT before pouring into film canister Put lid on immediately after putting in tablet and start timer PAY ATTENTION - be ready to stop timer!

Graph Use a pencil Label each axis Make sure time is in seconds! Spread out the numbers - use MORE than half of the graph Draw best fit line (through center of dots)

Conclusion Use complete sentences Decide if your data does or does not support your hypothesis - use your data to explain why or why not Explain 2 things you may have done wrong or could have done better to get a better graph (where all the dots would’ve been in a perfectly straight line)
