The CBI’s five-point plan for achieving a world-class education system Better education should be our overriding long-term priority Empowering school leaders and teachers to deliver is the right choice Laying the foundations with parents and communities is crucial Change is possible – but we must be clearer about what we ask schools to develop in students and for what purpose We must drive change through a culture of expectation – Aligning curriculum and examinations more effectively with the outcomes we seek
