Objective On Friday 1st February, ESBN will provide samples of the below files and screenshots to Market Participants: Downloadable Meter Point Files RMP Extranet 700 & 701MMs These samples are being provided to provide clarity to Market Participants on the changes being made for the relevant MCRs being delivered in the ROI Market Release v12.00.00 which will go-live in April 2019: MCR1167 MCR1173 MCR1140 MCR1169 The purpose of this pack is to provide supplementary information to Market Participants for these samples SMART

ROI Market Release v12.00.00 - Schema MCRs - Overview Description Change Details Relevant Samples MCR1167 Version 5.0 Facilitate energy efficiencies in Local Authority Public Lighting Eleven New code values are being added (I.e. U13->U23) Market Messages (MM): 591, 700, 700W, 701 & 701W 11 New Data Codes & 11 New Standard Profiles – refer to slide 9 25 New Burn Hour Calendars – refer to slide 10 Effective wattage for every lamp type will be published by ESBN (when available) Downloadable file with new data values and structure will be available to Suppliers from May 2019 – refer to slide 7 RMP Extranet Screenshots Downloadable Meter Point Files 700MM & 701MM MCR1173 Version 4.0 Vulnerable Customer Implementation in ROI of SI 463 Change existing Code 0008 to be valid in ROI & Two new code values (I.e. 0009 & 0010) Market Messages (MM): 010, 013 , 016 & 017 3 New Data Codes for ROI CoBL, 2 of which will be added to schema – refer to slide 13 Data Code values will now be used on Extranet and Downloadable files – not the Central Market System Codes as per current design – refer to slides 14 – 20 Code 0010 should not be used at this time – it’s being introduced for future proofing and will be rejected. Rejection reasons and associated rejection messages will be communicated at a future IGG. The codes will appear in confirmation messages in line with current market rules Modified downloadable files will be available to Suppliers from May 2019 – refer to slide refer to slides 14 - 17

ROI Market Release v12.00.00 - Non-Schema MCRs - Overview Description Comments Relevant Samples MCR1140 Version 4.0 Introduction of Eircodes into the Retail Market Design in Ireland Eircodes can be submitted on MMs in the existing Postal Code field : 010, 012, 012W,013 & 021 Eircodes where available will be returned in the existing Postal Code fields on MM: 014R, 101, 101P, 101R, 102, 102P, 102R, 105, 105L, 110, 112, 112R, 112W, 114, 301, 301N& 330 ESBN intend to update these in batch. Mechanism and schedule will be discussed for mass uploads of Eircodes into the Meter Point Address Postal Code field in the Central Market System at a future IGG. Once the Postal Code field has been populated it will be visible on the Retail Market Participant Extranet – refer to slide 22 Note: Existing Market Defect originally intended to go-live with MCR1187 will be implemented alongside this MCR. RMP Extranet Screenshots MCR1169 Version 3.0 Addition of Postal Code to two Downloadable Meter Point Details Files Modified downloadable files will be available to Suppliers from May 2019 – refer to slides 24 & 25 However, population of field will be determined by the Eircode upload schedule for MCR1140 Downloadable Meter Point Files

MCR1167 - Facilitate energy efficiencies in Local Authority Public Lighting

MCR1167 – Public Lighting - Downloadable Meter Point File The structure of the Unmetered Details (UNMT_CUST.CSV) file will be extended to cater for the assignment of up to three different Burning Hour Calendar codes per TMPRN, by the addition of the following new column headings: Burn Hour Calendar_2 Actual Wattage_2 Billable Wattage_2 Burn Hour Calendar_3 Actual Wattage_3 Billable Wattage_3 The UNMT_CUST file currently displays existing Burn Hour Calendar values in the existing Burn Hour Calendar column. In addition to any of the three Burn Hour Calendar values that are currently valid for ROI, this Change Request will allow for the population of the 25 new Burn Hour Calendar values, in the Burn Hour Calendar field in the UNMT_CUST file – next slide refers.

MCR1173 - Downloadable Meter Point Files Changes Two of the five Downloadable Meter Point files will be changed for the ‘Vulnerable Customer’ MCR: 1. Domestic MRPN Details (DOMS_CUST.csv) 2. Commercial MPRN Details (COMM_CUST.csv) MCR Description Change Required MCR1173 Vulnerable Customers Implementation in ROI of SI 463 Vulnerable Customer codes from the Co-ordinated Baseline (Customer Services Special Needs Details and Medical Equipment Special Needs details Data Codes) will now be used on the downloadable files and not the Central Market System Codes as per current design. This applies to all Vulnerable Customer codes, and not only those being added for MCR1173. These two files will be changed to accommodate the existing and new SSR and PSR values. The 0005 Code for Medical Institution will be retained. ESBN intend for the new information to be available in these files for Suppliers from May 2019 (i.e. based on the assumption that Suppliers have first populated the data for new codes )

MCR1173 – Vulnerable Cust – RMP Extranet Changes The RMP Extranet changes for this MCR are as follows: MCR Description Change Required MCR1173 Vulnerable Customers 3 Labels will appear on the RMP Extranet MPRN Enquiry Tab viz PSR (Containing a list of all* life and non life Medical Equipment Special Needs details Data Codes for MPRN) SSR (Containing a list of all existing and new Customer Service Special Needs Details Data Codes for MPRN) MI (Containing 0005 from Medical Equipment Special Needs details Data Codes where valid for MPRN) Vulnerable Customer codes from the Co-ordinated Baseline (Customer Services Special Needs Details and Medical Equipment Special Needs details Data Codes) will be used on the RMP Extranet not the Central Market System Codes as per current design. This applies to for all Vulnerable Customer codes, and not only those being added for MCR1173. Note: The PSR code values will only be displayed on the RMP Extranet if customer permission has been granted and where this has been advised by the Supplier.

MCR1140 – Eircodes – RMP Extranet Changes On the RMP Extranet system: MPRN Enquiry screen Meter Point Address section: The Postal Code will be displayed as shown in this screenshot MCR Description Change Required MCR1140 Introduction of Eircodes into the Retail Market in Ireland Once a Meter Point Address Postal Code field has been populated it will be visible on the Retail Market Participant Extranet MPRN, New Connections , View Appointments , and PMP Tabs It will appear in a 7 alpha/numeric character format without a blank between the 3rd and 4th value

MCR1169 - Addition of Postal Code to two Downloadable Meter Point Details Files

MCR1169 - Downloadable Meter Point Files Changes Two of the five Downloadable Meter Point files will be changed for these MCRs: 1. Domestic MRPN Details (domS_CUST.csv) 2. Commercial MPRN Details (COMM_CUST.csv) MCR Description Change Required MCR1169 Addition of Postal Code field to Downloadable files The Postal Code field will be available to suppliers in the file from May 2019. However, population of field will be determined by the Eircode update schedule for MCR1140 In each of the two proposed changed files, a 7 digit alpha numeric Postal Code will be populated in a new Postal Code Column for the Meter Point Address, where it is available in the Central Market System. The new Postal Code column will be added after the Region column. The Eircode has a structure A65F4E2 (there is one allowable exception for the first three characters viz.D6W). Each Eircode is comprised of seven alpha/numeric characters that are unique to each mailing address.

MCR1169 - Downloadable Meter Point Files Changes Postal Code field will be added to each of these files as shown below. These fields will be populated if a value exists in the Central Market System. 1. Domestic MRPN Details (DOMS_CUST.csv) 2. Commercial MPRN Details (COMM_CUST.csv)
