I Matter Project Is responding to huge unmet need for parents asking for help with children's who have emotional and behavioral difficulties

The Goal The goal of I Matter is to build skills in adults to understand Stress states Child development Attachment issues The trusted adult role The need for adult to stay calm in order to calm and coach the child Training developed by Dr Cathy Betoin who is a Child Psychologist and previously primary school teacher. I Matter does this by using online reflective training with support from a lead professional and group work

Over 50 families supported Ghyllside School – 31 families Old Hutton School – 4 families St Mark’s School – 4 families Settlebeck School – 4 families St Thomas’ School – staff training, almost ready Appletree EBD residential school – programme Post adoption support practitioners – training Captain French surgery – 2 GPs, 6 families
