Biotic and Abiotic factors

What makes up an ecosystem? Ecosystem – all the living and nonliving parts of an environment Biotic factors (Bio=life) – the living parts of an ecosystem Abiotic – the nonliving parts of an ecosystem

What makes up an ecosystem? Biotic and abiotic factors I Biotic and abiotic factors II

Name the biotic factors you see?

Name the abiotic factors you see?

Do biotic and abiotic factors affect each other? If there is no water…can anything grow or survive? If it is extremely cold one winter, will that affect whether an animal makes it?

Each table will get a picture Each table will get a picture. Work together to identify at least three biotic and three abiotic factors AND explain how they interact with each other. Extra XP if you can also identify what would happen if one (either biotic or abiotic) were removed or polluted.
