MAC States & MRPM Power Management or MAC states of single-radio technologies are important for MRPM which is about integrating power management of multi-radio mobile nodes State transition diagrams can be extracted from the standards that define MAC layer in each single-radio technology We also need power consumption values in each state Power consumption values depend on the manufacturer that implements the standards We have now values for various technologies: 802.11, 3GPP (EDGE), 3GPP2 (EV-DO) and WiMAX 2019/4/6
