Trading Card – Characterization in “Summer Diamond Girl” Create a trading card of yourself including interesting information about you and a paragraph describing something you love as much as Toni loves softball. Follow the directions below to complete the activity. Read “Summer Diamond Girl.” Consider how much Toni loves playing softball and how dedicated she is to being the best player she can be. Go to the Read, Write, Think Trading Card Creator on the web: http://www.readwritethink.org/classroom-resources/student-interactives/trading-card-creator-30056.html Enter your name and click Start. Fill in the topic and select a type for your trading card. Simply fill in the information to create your card. Use the Flip button to complete the back of your trading card. When you are done, click Finish. Save your final trading card as a PDF with your first name and last name (Example: savannacarter.pdf) to your personal flash drive or the classroom flash drive.
