Project posters Planning paper – before you have your poster paper, you need to have a planning sheet with an outline of how your poster will look. Your poster can be used in a variety of ways

Panel poster You can divide your poster into several “panels” and have your information in the “story”

Poster Project!

Whole poster or hybrid? Utilize the whole poster and put the title on it and your facts in a decorative way around your poster Hybrid - A portion of the poster is “whole” or open, a section is panels

Planning paper On a regular sheet of paper, decide which topic your poster is going to focus on Decide the style and format you are going to use – comic? Artistic? News?

If you did not complete your text book pages from yesterday, do that first! Then get your planning paper in for approval for your poster Materials – 1 poster paper, 2 sheets of constructions paper, 2 feet of any 1 kind of tape, glue sticks, rulers, markers

Final product Should be decorative and informative! Number your facts so you know that you have your minimum amount (10) or enough for extra credit (15)

Name class period on the back! I only have enough resources for each of you to get 1 poster paper and 2 sheets of construction paper, if you want more colors, divide your construction paper up and trade
